The Museum of Fine Arts (MFA) will host The Obama Portraits Tour in Boston September 3 – October 30, 2022. This exhibit will display the work of Kehinde Wiley and Amy Sherald, the first African Americans commissioned by the National Portrait Gallery to create official portraits of a president and first lady. A key component of this project was, “Portraits of Leadership,” bringing to life the concept of leadership through the voices of key figures across the city. Among those selected, was DEAF, Inc.’s Executive Director Darian Gambrell. Darian was honored to participate in this project, where she shared her thoughts about leadership and what that means to her. We encourage you to visit this amazing exhibit and explore these iconic works of art. For more information about the exhibit and to purchase tickets, click here. MFA is also offering free admission on Monday, Monday, September 19th, Monday, October 10th (Indigenous Peoples’ Day) and Sunday, October 30th. Be sure not to miss this historic opportunity!
