Walk-In Hours
Walk-in services are provided at all DEAF, Inc. locations and are open to anyone. On each walk-in day, an ARES Advocate will be available in-person, ready to provide support with any questions or problems you may have. Generally, each walk-in is about 15-20 minutes, depending on the number of people needing assistance that day. If your situation is complex, or requires some time to complete, you may be asked to complete a referral for services or meet with your ARES Advocate, if you have one. This is to ensure that we provide you with the best possible services.
Support with completing a brief application, troubleshooting technical issues, or requesting communication access through an online portal are examples of how our walk-in services can be used.
Walk-in services are not intended to replace the services that you receive from your assigned ARES Advocate. Your Advocate knows your situation best, and we strongly recommend that you continue to work with your Advocate towards your service goals.
