- Bachelor's degree in the area of deafness, human services, or a related field, or 2 years of related work experience with Deaf or Hard of Hearing adults
- ASL Fluency and ability to communicate in written English
- Peer experience as a parent
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Suite
- Must have reliable and accessible private transportation
- Sensitivity to and awareness of issues affecting parents with hearing loss
- Working knowledge of assistive technology for Deaf, Hard of Hearing and Late Deafened adults
- Experiential community involvement
- Manage a reasonable caseload of adults who are Deaf and Hard of Hearing who use American Sign Language and/or spoken English to communicate
- Provide direct services including, peer counseling, advocacy, skills training, and information and referral
- Work with assigned caseload, following written service plans that delineate advocacy and skills training goals, and document services provided
- Provide outreach and education to consumers and the community as assigned
